Marketplace Ozon’s GMV rockets 71% to 303 bln rbl in Jan–Mar
MOSCOW, May 24 (PRIME) -- The gross merchandise value (GMV) of Russian marketplace Ozon leaped 71% on the year to 303 billion rubles in January–March, the company said on Wednesday in a statement.
Revenue increased 47% to 93.25 billion rubles. Service revenue accounted for 57% of total revenue, or 53.4 billion rubles.
The company’s incomes from the advertising platform for sellers tripled to more than 10 billion rubles.
Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) reached 8 billion rubles in January–March against a negative indicator of 8.9 billion rubles a year earlier. It stayed positive for four quarters in a row.
